Blade-Tech’s Tek-Mount family gives you modular, quick-connect mounting options for your gear, but choosing between Tek-Mount and Tek-Mount Mini comes down to what you are mounting.
These are not interchangeable systems or simply two sizes of the same product. Each platform is built around a different category of gear and application.
Understanding the Core Difference
The distinction is straightforward: Tek-Mount is designed for holsters and larger duty gear, while Tek-Mount Mini is designed for compact accessories.
Tek-Mount is Blade-Tech’s full-size modular quick-connect mounting system. It is the platform used for holster mounting, including supported VALOR Duty Drop and VALOR Duty Loop configurations, along with other compatible gear.
Tek-Mount Mini is the compact option, built specifically for smaller carried accessories. It is not designed or approved for holster mounting.

Tek-Mount is the right choice when you are mounting a holster or larger duty-oriented equipment that calls for the full-size platform.

Tek-Mount Mini is intended for compatible compact accessories such as magazine pouches, tourniquet holders, knife sheaths, tape measures, and similar small equipment.
